![]() In 2020, he received the national Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Society Postgraduate Fellowship Award for his project to improve neurosurgical training. At Johns Hopkins, he also served as the Co-Director of the Neuro-Oncology Surgical Outcomes Laboratory, where he mentored and led a diverse growing team of medical researchers. After attaining his medical degree, he continued his scholarly pursuits at the Johns Hopkins Neurosurgery Department as a postdoctoral research fellow in Neurosurgical Oncology. He graduated summa cum laude from Alexandria University School of Medicine.
